A layout, finally!

Bonjour, toute d'abord hello à Ludivine et les filles qu'ont assister au atelier hier à Rodez. Comme toujours , vous avez assurer. On a bien rigoler (toute en travaillant dur, dur!) et en plus vous avez chacune fini vos minis. Bravo!

Aujourd'hui j'étais sensée fermer les valises car on part pour Miami très tôt mardi matin. C'est 14h55 et je peut dire que les valises m'attends toujours. Instead (comment on dit ça en français?) je voulait absolument scrapper cette page. **edit: photos en plus grand résolution ici.** Ça fait au moins 4 mois que je fait que de minis...et cette layout tourne dans ma tête depuis quelque jours. Voila. La liste du matériel pour la page:

Finding You, Week 1

I can't share the details of the assignment in case you decide to participate. But here is my first layout for Corinne Delis's Finding You class. I am so glad I joined. I used WorldWinn double-sided cardstock (a different tone of the same hue on either side!) Autumn Leaves French Twist paper. KI Memories bubble alpha in black (I've been hoarding these babies for ages because I can't find them anywhere!) I cut out the felt figure myself. Doodlebug buttons. Hello! Here's a mini I made for my friend Annie who welcomed her second little girl in July. I used Basic Grey Gypsy Collection - one of my favorites! I love the bright tutti frutti-ness of the colors. I also used a magnetic tie-back, and HS embellishments.

Seek (OLW)

Look Ma', no pictures! Here's my *seek* lo for one little word. As I'm uploading I realize I didn't include a picture on this layout. That's a first for me and I think i like it ;-)
I used bits from my tourquoise and lime green scrap pile (7 gypsies, Creative Imaginations and Hambly.) And a chock-full-o' embellishments from Love, Elsie's Toby collection. I used AC Galaxy Marker in black to write and doodle a tiny bit. I also used a piece of blue with white polka dots foam that I bought in Panama in February to make the arrow under the title.
And voila!

Gotta thank the people a onelittleword for making this challenge that keeps me coming back for more. (Even if I'm behind on *simplicity* and *balance*!!)

Bonjour. Voila ma page le mot *seek* pour olw. J'ai utilise des restes des papiers verts et tourquoise (7 gypsies, Creative Imaginations and Hambly.) Et plein des embellisements de collection Love, Elsie Toby. J'ai réaliser apres que je n'ai pas utiliser des photos avec cette page...et finalement ça me va tres bien. La fleche en mousse avec pois blanc ce fait avec cette mousse que j'ai trouver à Panama en fevrier.

Mellow Yellow

Here's a LO I made two nights ago with pictures from our Ardeche photoshoot. I let Mariana pick the color (I knew she would choose yellow, her favorite color.) I used Maya Road scroll chipboard, MM Flowers & Mini Alpha sticker, HS Ghost wing, some hot pink paint and yellow acrylic paint (of course!)

Voila une page faite il y a deux jours avec une photo prise la semaine dernière en Ardèche. J'ai laissée ma soeur choisi le couleur et j'étais sur elle choisira jaune (sa couleur prefere!) J'ai utilise chipboards Maya Road, fleurs et alpha MM, aile transparent de Heidi Swapp et peinture acrylique.

Happy Feet

Hello! One little post before I leave to Ardeche for a week. Another sort of black-hole location. No internet, no television...just mountains. It's so good for my soul.

I made this layout in Biarritz with the few materials that I took with me: HS Chipboard hearts, AC rub-ons, MM mini alphabet stickers, Rhonna Farrer French Twist papers & rub-on words. Voila.

When I get back it will be time to say adios to summer and jump into the organized, structured school year. I love, love, love summer but the new school year helps to reign me in and get focused. It's all good.

End of August I will be posting all my class dates for the fall. So if you'd like to take a class with me (it'll be fun, I promise!) check back then ;-)

Bonjour! Je repart une semaine en vacances. Cette fois en Ardèche. Ça va être extrêmement reposant.

Voila une dernière page réaliser avec les peu de matos que j'ai amener à Biarritz.

Au retour ça sera deja la rentre que j'aime car ça me donne l'opportunité de rependre un rythme un peu plus organiser. Si vous etes intéresser de participer à un avec moi (ça sera fun, promis!) fin aout je passera le programme des ateliers que je proposera pour l'automne.

After I finished this layout last night it occured to me that is is the Third. Orange. Layout. in two months. What is going on? I didn't even think orange was one of my favorite colors but apparently I've been buying a lot of orange.

New (OLW)

Thanks to the gals at OLW my "to scrap" pile of pictures is diminishing! These challenges allow me to grab the next one on the pile and find a title using the word. It took me a while to get this title (the original being "there's a new sheriff in town!") I don't think this LO is particularly prize worthy but I like the "no fuss, get it done" attitude that I adopt when participating to these challenges!

My Baby Sister (OLW)

Bonjour! Voila une page fait hier soir (avec juste une semaine de retard! mdr!) pour le OLW challenge. Je m'avait dit que je participera a tous les challenges de OLW...meme si c'etait avec tellement retard. L'ete est arrivee et je passe de plus en plus de temps loin de l'ordi et plus de temps de hors. Pour le moment a Toulouse le gros chaleur n'a pas arrivee. ouf! Bon journee, Denise. Hello. Here's my "My" lo for OLW. Okay, I'm late again but at least I got it done. I made it rather quickly (under two hours!) I just let my hands do the work and did not worry about planning my lo ahead of time (which is how I usually work) so that was fun. I've been spending more time outside now that summer is here and not so much time near the computer. There has not been a big heat wave in Toulouse yet which makes this summer SUPER bearable. 100% Real (this is a scraplift)

La semaine derniere j'ai vu cette LO sur le blog de Celine. J'ai eu envie de faire un scraplift parce que j'ai trouve la mise en page et les couleurs gai. En plus j'ai pu utiliser encore un des mes 1,000,000,000,000 des fleurs. Tant mieux! Bon journee, Denise Last week I saw this LO on Celine's blog. The colors and layout really spoke to me so I decided to scraplift it. I didn't look at her LO for a day and worked from my memory to try to invoke the things that inspired. This is the result - not quite as dynamic - but colorful and finished ;-) I was happy to work in 8.5x11 format (which I have done only a handful of times.) Thanks for looking, Denise

Bonjour! J'ai fait nettoyage de printemps et me suis rendu compte que j'ai bcp de fleurs. Donc j'ai decide de faire de LOs avec ces fleurs. Voila. Bises, Denise Hi! Ça vous arrive de commencer un LO et de pas finir? Eh, moi aussi. Voila une page que j'ai commencé l'annee derniere. J'ai du journalling a rajouter mais je n'est pas prise le temp pour le faire. Aujourd'hui je me sents tellement loins de le momnet dans cet photo car bcp à changer pour notre petite famille...donc je ne sais pas encore si cette page restra comme ça (lire: unfinished.) En tout cas, cet auto-protrait me plait tellement que ça m'est egal si ça reste comme ça.
